Our standard check-in time is between 3:30 and 5 p.m.    
We will be looking forward to your arrival at the "Expected arrival time" you have selected on your reservation.
If you will be arriving after 5 p.m. and have not already specified the time we should expect you,  please be sure to give us several hours notice  so we can arrange to have
someone here to check you in "after hours"  since  our staff will have gone home for the day. 
To change your originally selected arrival time  PLEASE call  - Leave your name, cell phone # & newly expected time of arrival.  
Sorry, but check-ins before 3:30 p.m. are not available as our staff will be cleaning the rooms and we will be running our afternoon errands.
Please be patient.  If you arrive in the area before 3:30, there are a number of lovely restaurants you can enjoy until it is time to check-In

DIRECTIONS:
From I-95: Take Exit 284 - "Rt. 100 / Flagler Beach- Bunnell"  - Go East  3 miles to Ocean.   
Turn right on A1A, (S. Oceanshore Blvd
)  - Go 2 miles.  Island Cottage is on the right, #2316 just past South 23rd St.   Look for the white picket fence & sea green  metal roof.
Park in the space designated for "Checking In"  - Ring the bell to the right of the gate wall. We may be checking in another guest when you arrive so  Please be patient

If you  pass our building, go around the block & COME to the FRONT AGAIN as there is no way to reach us from the back. Thanks.   Please Drive Safely!

Island Cottage offers Fine Dining by advance reservation, ... & room service is also available.
Flagler Beach boasts a wealth of Restaurants w/in 2 miles of our Inn.
Shopping is within 3 miles - Horseback Riding -30 minutes,  Swim w/ Dolphins - 20 minutes,   Kayaking, Golf, Small boat rentals - 10 to 20 minutes

DAYTONA BEACH & SPEEDWAY:  25 minutes           St. AUGUSTINE Historic District : 35 minutes        ORLANDO DISNEY ATTRACTIONS:  75 minutes

POLICIES
All Rates & Specials are based on *2 person occupancy  - 2 night minimum
50% deposit on all reserved items (Villa, Spa & Add-ons, tax & gratuity) Balance due morning of  expected arrival &  becomes non-refundable at that time. 
 1 night reservations (LAST MINUTE ONLY) will be charged at a higher rate Starting at $299 and up  - due in-full and non-refundable - We Do Not accept ADVANCED 1 night reservations

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULES
*On reservations of 1 to 6 nights, your Cancellation / Reschedule fee while you are more than 10 days from your expected arrival is $65  *except for canceled reservations which
fall between Feb 10 - 25 when a 1 night "PEAK" fee is charged.
 
*Within 10 days and on ALL reservations of 7 nights or more, your Cancellation / Reschedule  fee is equal to the published 1 Night rate for that room
  plus 50% of any reserved add-on items  *except for
reservations which were between Feb 10 - 25 when a 50% "PEAK" Cancellation / Reschedule fee is charged
plus 50% of any reserved add-on items
 
 *No-shows, 1 Night reservations and Wedding or Private Event  related reservations are all due in full & are non refundable - including all add-on items reserved.
 If you are on a Special Rate or Package for a specified # of nights w/ specified check-in day, or a special discounted rate, you will loose that special rate or discount if you alter
 any of the requirements for that special or package - or if you reschedule your reservation and that discount is no longer offered
NOTE: Future rate changes will not effect this reservation.

   Children over age 15 only /  Absolutely no "Spring Breakers" unless accompanied by parents

Additional persons are $20 per person per night.  (Only available in our "Villas".) 
Cayman Is. Villa -
 5 persons maximum - 5th person on cot (or couch - $100 cot fee applies, ...  Grenadines & Bahamas Villas.(3 persons max. - 3rd person on Sofa-bed)
Persons under age 25 not accompanied by parents must show proof of marriage & driver’s licenses in order to stay at Island Cottage
We reserve the right to request Driver's/ Marriage License & Deny Access w/out refund if under our minimum age
   Your rate, once reserved, is guaranteed. Future rate increases or  "specials" will not effect your reservation. Prices & Specials are subject to change w/out notice
For all events including Weddings & Private Parties,  a $500 credit card deposit is required for extras such as beverages, taxes, gratuities etc that have not already been paid for in advance.

 No check-ins on Thanksgiving Day, Easter, Christmas Day or Christmas Eve 
3 Night Minimum applies Thanksgiving & Christmas Weeks / New Year's Week / Labor Day Weekend, Memorial Day weekend,  July 2 - 7 
5 Night Minimum applies Feb 10 - 25
